Your wedding day is the one day you can choose to indulge even your most unusual fantasies. It that means getting married wearing scuba gear, or saying your vows whilst skydiving then so be it (provided your groom feels the same way, of course!) If a traditional Church or registry office wedding ceremony doesn’t feature in your fantasy of your perfect wedding day then it’s time to think outside the box and look at some of the most unusual wedding venues in the world:

Underwater

If you’re a diving fanatic who has always fancied getting married abroad, then getting married underwater could be the perfect unusual wedding venue for you. The murky, cold, and dirty water around the UK coast might not appeal, but a tropical coral reef would be the perfect venue for an underwater wedding.

On the London Eye

If your husband-to-be makes you feel literally on top of the world, then why not be on the top of the world when you say your ‘I do' and get married on the London Eye. At its highest the London Eye stands 400 feet above the city, and each capsule holds up to 25 people; perfect if you’re looking for a small and intimate occasion.

Couples in Hong Kong can now get married in their local McDonalds restaurant. If you and your future hubby are burger addicts then you could have your ceremony, reception, wedding cake and catering for up to 100 people provided for just £250. Plus the air fare to Hong Kong, of course! Mc Wedding cake, anyone?

Your local zoo

Animal lovers can now get married in their local zoo.
